Dairy Free Protein Peanut butter Balls

Looking for a great snack before or after your workout that will give you some great protein and energy? Look no further these little power houses are for you.

I was looking for a healthy snack for myself and my son to give us some protein and energy and I found a recipe on the internet and changed it a bit to suit my needs.

My version is dairy free and uses an organic vegan protein powder, you can always use another type of protein which fits your profile/need.

I gathered my ingredients as follows:

2 cups of organic peanut butter

2 table spoons of local or organic honey

1/4 cup of organic or unsulphured or organic molasses

2 scoops of Sun warrior chocolate warrior blend protein powder

In a large bowl thoroughly mix all the ingredients. Form into table-spoon or teaspoon sized balls and place on a baking sheet with wax paper and freeze for 2 hours.

You can also add flax-seeds, or other healthy ingredients to add some crunch to it. Enjoy
